Traditionally dressed members of the Taposa tribe in front of a recently opened, US-funded electrical power plant in the southern Sudanese town of Kapoeta on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011. These men were part of a ceremony marking the opening of the power facility. US officials, including US Consul General, Ambassador Barrie Walkley, traveled to Kapoeta to formally inaugurate the new facility. Kapoeta and other parts of Eastern Equitoria State were badly devastated by southern Sudan's 22-year civil war.
